Fundraiser / Charity

Dear Friend of Law Enforcement:

The Long Beach Police Officers Association (LBPOA), an organization representing more than 900+ active Long Beach police officers, is seeking your assistance for its annual fundraiser. Your partnership helps us to continue programs that improve the quality of life for Long Beach residents and police officers.

In the past, LBPOA has used part of its public support in contributing to community-based groups, including:

  • Crime Victims United of California
  • Special Olympics
  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  • For the Child
  • Boy Scouts of America
  • The Marrow Foundation

Additionally, the LBPOA has helped local officers and their families in crisis through the Widows and Orphans Trust Fund. This fund seeks to provide emergency financial assistance to the families of police officers killed or injured in the line of duty.

We are asking you to please partner with us, as we support our Long Beach police officers with the issues they confront on a daily basis. Your financial support enables us to continue to fight for a higher quality of life for these officers and the community as a whole. For your convenience, we have enclosed a sponsorship card and envelope. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions regarding this fundraiser, we welcome your call at (562) 426-1201. Thank you for your support of and partnership with the Long Beach Police Officers Association!

Respectfully,

Stephen James
